The essential job functions and responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:

  • Planning and providing top-quality instruction to 9th- 12th grade students;
  • Collaborating with faculty, staff, administration, parents, and students;
  • Preparing, instructing, and grading all class coursework;
  • Assigning final grades;
  • Maintaining regularly scheduled office hours to meet with students;
  • Coordinating, advising and facilitating one or more student clubs.

The qualifications and skill requirements for this position include:

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and Florida Department of Education Certification in one or more of the following: English (grades 6-12); Mathematics (grades 6-12); Reading (grades 6-12); Science (grades 6-12), Biology (grades 6-12), Social Sciences (grades 6-12), ESE, or ESOL.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of verifiable teaching experience and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Ideal candidate will be an educator with additional degrees, certifications or credentials.
  • All instructors must meet the appropriate credentialing requirements for Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) accreditation and Florida Professional Certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,895.00 - $55,335.00 per year
